Well after I would take out my drivers license and the health insurance cards, yep you could have it as it would be empty. Now I am going to have to watch when I might be able to tap into the wife's piggy bank.

Getting the power plant ready to install. Yes, we have the rocker arms and the intake and exhaust ports and all openings covered when not working on it, took the covering off for the photo shoot.

Very very nice. The only thing I would want different would be painting the vacuum lines. I don't think they came in bare copper finish. They stick out too much.

Thanks for the complement, I probably acquired the bare copper taste when restoring antique tractors. I am also sure that they never had the lines in bare copper, also am sure some of the hardware is not correct, as I am leaving the bolts the silver color or going with the yellow zinc, if I remember right a lot of the hardware was painted OD. I am also going to put on the MP markings from my old unit in Germany. I am going with the RT524 radio set up and I know we didn't have that either, but don't remember for sure what we had. This will have the M4 mount in it, as it was in the vehicle when I acquired it, but none of ours in Germany had them either, am also not going to put on the wood half doors that we had. If I ever stumble across another 2C or 2D hood number vehicle maybe I will try to get it more factory correct. Won't be very long anymore and I will be able to go out and enjoy it, looking forward to some of the parades. Larry

Horst , a friend of mine who is in to early 151s swears that copper lines were correct .
A2s were a different story.
In any event its a great resto.

Interesting. Always something new to learn. But he is not saying they would be bare copper, right?

Fil, not to doubt your friend but, from what I remember all the lines were steel as all the wiring was stainless steel. :)

Horst, going to beg off and have TankermanM60 jump in and confirm the statement directly of copper tubing.
Maybe the Muttguru will read this and chime in with words from on high!
Dan , did you really mean stainless wiring?
