This week's hurricane reminded me I had not posted any pictures of this summers flooding here along the Mississippi River. The first one is the most tragic as it is the Clarksville Boat Club. It was taken before the rest. It got about 3 feet higher but I could not get any pictures at the crest as there was no way to get close enough for pictures. The water got to about where the shadow is across the front of the building. We have all the beer and tappers and coolers stored and plugged in in my shed until we get it back in shape. I miss the boat club
Here are a few other pics including some real heroes, the Mo. National Guard. These pics were taken when the water was about 1 foot lower than the crest. I was out of town during the highest water, or the pictures would have been more dramatic.
Here is a Guardsman taking a well deserved break while manning the pumps downtown.

The beer is at Raymonds house. I don't think there is a chance in hell it will be around long enough to get sour!

There will be a meeting of the G838 Owners Club at Raymonds this week end to help keep the beer safe Oh, and clean up the club house.
Dan. PS: Raymond, not that we think what happend at the boat club or anywhere is funny but, it 's just the thought of all that beer in there with a Mutt.
