I think I mentioned my rough living conditions to Rick F a while back and just ran across this pic of the 'hooch', note our 151s out front.
also found this one of our gunships
this what a mini gun that puts out up to 4,000 rounds a minute looks like with the small rocket pods. The mini gun was mounted on a hydrolic pylon and the copilot could pivot it using a sight in the cockpit. the rockets were fixed and fired by the aircraft commander.

BTW the one showing my 'hooch' was really for Rick F as I think i may have mentioned some to him some of the amenities i had back then- plasma tvs, tivo and a nearby cell tower to call home.
this pic is me and my crew taking off for another gunship mission out of Bien Hoa {"Mustangs-we fly, they die"}

That was the C.O.'s jeep with siren. We probably traded for it with the USAF on the base- those guys didn't get out much.
