30.06 ammo on Cloth belt " SOLD "

Unread post by Mr. Recovery » September 8th, 2008, 10:42 pm

I just found 105 rounds of live 30.06 ammo on a Cloth belt that I do not need, I could use the .06 in my Grand but, someone may have a need for it in the belt, it is dated "69" it is very clean, has been in a ammo can that will go with the deal, asking $60.00 + shipping  if I can get it shipped, or it can be picked up here or somewhere on I-70 on my trip to Colorado about the 26th. of this month. I will post photo's tomorrow. :)

Dan,
How many rounds will the belt hold. Is it a 100rd belt or a 250 rd belt. Is the ammo USGI?
So many questions...
And I'm only 25 minutes from I-70

Hi Bob, I'll have to count the empty holes, I think it's part of a 250 belt  I can see 100 at one end and 250 at the other, it may not be US, it is marked " K 69 .30 " I bought it back in the late 80s when I had my FFL, it came from what was then "SOG" Southern Ohio Gun. I was going to use it in my Grand but then came across some packed in clips. :) I can try and get a better photo for you if you like.
