Re: No-kidding, Real Source for A2 Horn Button Repair Kit

I am almost 99% sure they are the same, all the TMs give the same number for all models of the 151. Keep in mind that the opening in the steering wheel "may" have shrunk over time!

Re: No-kidding, Real Source for A2 Horn Button Repair Kit

That part # 5703314 is the Part number for the complete kit. Most venders seem to be selling the individual part's from the kit.

The horn has only 1 wire, hot, it is grounded when you press the button, it is grounded to the steering column.

Re: Need A2 parts

I have a NOS right side lower arm, the boot on the ball joint needs to be replaced, the ball joint was new when I got the arm.
$95.00 + shipping, I thought I had the upper also but haven't found it yet.

I coated the inside of the hub drum area with a thin layer of wheel bearing grease so the drum wouldn't rust to it.Any feedback for that remedy?
"I" have found that a light coat of Graphite paste works best as it won't spread when it gets hot.

Re: Beverly Hillbillies

I couldn't find the limitations for refacing the brake drums in the book so I'm assuming the high point of the chamfered edge on the inner edge of the drum is the no-go line. I took them over to O'Reilly's today and dropped them off. Only one drum was showing unusual wear, that being the right fron...

Re: Posting pictures in the site

Did a lot of runs from the glass recycling place in NJ out to Denver then to LA. This was the last C...

Re: Front end alignment ?

I can tell you without any doubt that all 8 brackets have a different part number, and they have a letter stamped into them that dictates where they go, looking at the TM page above bracket # 2 is stamped with a big D, # 3 has a big C, #12 has a big B, #11 a big A, This is for the left side, the rig...
