Re: M151A4

I did not think there was such a thing as an M151A4. I figured it was a bunch of BS, here is what was posted. This guys is kind of a legend around here, not a good legend either.... "The Arsenal of Democracy museum received this M151 A2 A4 jeep one of the last ones built in the 2000. Only 100 built,...

Re: M151 Wood promo model?

I will say that the museum had to dip into it's artifact fund to secure this little gem, but we feel it was worth it. I have already had several offers to buy it, but it is NFS. We are working on designing a way to exhibit the model and keep it safe, it survived all these years with little damage, a...

M151 Wood promo model?

This item came into the museum last week and we are hoping someone can help confirm what it is. We think it is a Ford made "Salesman's Sample" of the M151. It is made of wood, has a working suspension, seats fold, top is removable. appears to be @ 1/6 scale. Looks to be a representation of an early ...

Re: MUTT with Different Looking Paint Scheme I saw

In the mid 80's I lived in Grafenwoer Germany, and I recall an M151 that ran around Rose Barracks in the old MERDC scheme, but all the black patches were the playboy bunny logo, I really wish I had taken a pic of it, but unlike today, we did not all have cameras on us at all times. Another fun one w...

M718 fender straps.

There are 4 footman loops with straps on the RF fender of my M718, the manual shows that they belong there, but make no mention of what they are for. What were these meant to secure?

Re: WTB M718 side curtains

Would you want the whole top? it is rather heavy and bulky, send me your zip code and I'll get a shipping cost for you.
The top is all there except the front doors, it is not in great shape, but could serve as a pattern.
