Re: Safelite Repair, Safelite...

m3a1, here's the story. i was working for a glass shop in a suburb of sacramento, way back when. many older buildings in our area still had non safety type glass in many locations, including the entrance doors and sidelites. a guy went in there, ordered lunch, finished it, and made a run for the fro...

Re: Gearbox Oil Leak

pull the power pack. i'm not the greatest mechanic in town, and i had mine out in about an hour. this will give you a chance to spot other things that may need doing, and make them much easier to accomplish.

Re: heater hoses connection to engine

i ran a 180 thermostat in my A1, but the heater, which i installed NOS, was not much help. i even had full canvas installed. now i am wondering if i also put the hoses on wrong, even though i was following the manual step by step. can't check now, sold it a while back.

Re: Happy New Year

You may have a bunch of little short guns that shoot lots of bullets fast but I have a few old heavy long guns that shoot big bullets slowly, and VERY long distances very accurately. I will win. This is my year to dominate the world! Now, if you want to talk about sharing some time in the indoor po...

i don't watch any football, no interest. at least with this game, there won't be anyone kneeling in protest during the anthem.

Re: VIC1 question

Is there an adapter cable from the c-2298 to a Huey pilot helmet with the jacket plug? My grandkids love the VIC1 intercom and I would like to hook up the flight helmet instead of the open headsets with the break away connectors. Thanks, CT we had combat vehicle crewman helmets in our V100's, conne...

Re: looking for the following parts for a M73E1 dummy I'm building for display with my M151

our V100's had a pair of those in the turret mount. they were something, when they worked right. took a little practice to get used to. spin the turret manually with your left hand, raise and lower the barrels with your right hand, and depress the firing button with your right thumb, 6 to 9 round bu...
