Now THAT is a faded data plate!!! Too bad it is on an aftermarket body. Can't say I have ever seen that body style with the exoskeleton.

Well CL has been rather slow lately. Not sure if it's the new fee to post vehicles they introduced or just that time of the year.

South Carolina - Oil Bath for $50 https://columbia.craigslist.org/pts/d/l ... 85589.html

A2 in San Diego for $5000. Says selling as parts jeep so guessing no title.

That's a good price on that A2 in San Diego provided the underside isn't rotted out.

That is NOT a 65, that is an EXCEPTIONALLY straight 63 or earlier straight 15. The turn signal lights have been added on the the fenders, no signal hole bosses and no third brake light.

Missed it. I put it up without really taking a look. Also has early brake handle, early pedals, screw seats, early single horn latches, shovel handle brackets, early engine mounts, etc. Would not take much to get it back to "original."

Cause it's not a 65 as stated. Only the extremely early ones had two cowl vents. I found an earlier post where it was stated …

The early Ford M151 had 2 vents: 1960-1962

Exact time frame where it changed from 2 to 1 I did not see.

You would think that it would have been on every Mutt produced. My 62 does not even have one. Oh well.
Rick I called about that A2 In Seattle, just for the heck of it. It was a CUTT MUTT. No pic's of the underside.

From my understanding the vents were for the intake to the heater. There was an early heater that may have used both, not sure. You only really need one vent to supply the later heaters under the cowl so down to one for cold climate applications and then later there was no need for a heater for those heading to warmer climates so I'm sure they tried to save on costs so they were built without any on those.
