XM-151 - "1/4-Ton 4X4 Comparison Study" - Copies for Sale

Unread post by mrdibbles » February 12th, 2016, 3:50 pm

Hi Forum-
I got enough interest in my prior post that I went to local printing shop and made some reproductions of my original. These copies are not cheap or flimsy. High quality paper, that matched the originals, was used along with plastic covers and comb bindings (every effort made to reproduce as was the original document).

This is a 25-page study commissioned by Willys Motors Inc. back in October of 1954. It is a comparison between 1/4-ton variants under consideration by the military at that time. We know the outcome... the M151 was selected. The XM151 is compared in this study to the: Willys CJ5, Willys M38A1, Willys Aero Jeep, Fletcher Aviation Flair, and the Mid-America Mighty Mite.

If you would like to purchase one I'm selling them for $17.50 ea. + $4.00 shipping within the US (total = $21.50). That represents cost (of the reproduction) plus $4.11 ea. This isn't a money making endeavor. Goal here is to share this document with people that want a hard copy for their collection. If you would like one please PM me and we can settle up through PayPal where you can verify your address and whatnot. If you have any questions let me know.
Thanks,
Matt-

Hey Guys-
If you've already sent money to me via PayPal thank you. Your packages were mailed out on Wednesday. Slight delay due to my business travels.

Good question. I'll be making another batch this week or early next. As best as possible I'd like to give everyone a chance to raise their hand if they want one. That way I can make all the copies needed, without over or under doing it, and minimize runs to the post office. That said yes I can absolutely make more so please let me know if you're interested. You can PayPal me $21.50 (as a "gift"... their fee for "goods" is high) or send Money Order. If opting for MO please PM me and I'll provide my home address. Thanks!
