A couple of pictures of M151a1's in Chu Lai, S Vietnam

Taken by me in a M151a1 at Chu Lai, S. Vietnam. April 1969. Main service road and MAG12 (Marine Air Group 12) flight line. I was assigned to the 71st AHC in Chu Lai.

Those pics sure look old, you know what that means for those of us that were there don't you? We are OLD!!!!!!!!!

In that time period, here in USA the war vets didn't get treated good at all.Even if you wasn't a war vet

i came back to the world through the frisco airport. i will never forget the "welcoming committee". we even had to deal with hanoi jane at the gates of ft ord. MP duty was not always pleasant.
