When I first started riding there was a movie that came out called "On any Sunday" with Steve McQueen, if you were a racing enthusiast, you should find the movie and watch it. We had it on vcr tape back in the day, my kids enjoyed watching it.

McQueen was a very good motocross rider. When I was racing buggies in Baja he was always a fixture there wandering through the pit checking out everything. He always stopped at every pit he could to look at what you had and wish you luck. A real class act in the racing world. It did not matter if you were a top shelf racer or a back yard mechanic he made a point to stop and see you. Without a ton of press following him. Most of the time it took a minute or so to realize who he was. Back in the late 60's-early 70's the only people wearing racing suits were the high dollar teams. While he could have dressed like that he was dressed like most of us in jeans and a denim or leather jacket.

I don't believe you found one of those in decent condition. I won a bet at the fire company that I could not ride one that a guys son had, I rode it but it was comical with me at 6'3" tall and 210 lbs. I was substantially more flexible than I am now!

Just picked this up yesterday, it wasn't firing, the guy said he thought it was the cdi unit, got it running today, it was the kickstand safety switch. :D
Cool little bike, 6 speed, liquid cooled 50cc, I got it up to 50mph and it's big enough for an adult, they are pretty rare in the U.S., big following in Europe.

Most of the time you would put that platform under the center of the bike to hold it up off the ground. This time the entire bike sits ON the platform!!!!

Picked up this 62 Willys Wagon today a mile down the road, PTO winch and clear title $500, Added new battery, fuel and fuel filter, primed it and it fired right up. My wife said it was the first thing I've bought that I could drive home.
