I must say I have never seen a Rupp Go Joe, I read it came with a 8hp. 2 stroke engine? it should haul ass, I do like the ape hanger bars, :D Making some progress on my SL, taking a break from the ambulance.

If you're asking about mine, it's a minibike, 1973 SL70, yes it's a 4 stroke, finding good tanks and mufflers is a challenge these days.

Yes I was, I had a xl350, bought it new in 1974.Wish I would have kept it, had a chain drive(which would stretch so had to adjust alot)

I wanted a trail bike like that in the early 70s, but we were too poor to afford one, sniff, sniff... :(

You are sure making it/them look new again - beautiful!

Was finally able to get the bodywork painted, need to apply decals and a couple more coats of clear, wrapping this project up. :D
