Where is Moose ?

Re: Where is Moose ?
AND................ You are also our resident gasoline expert. Which by the way brings up an interesting blurb I heard on a news report from California. A shop owner was telling people not to use 100LL aircraft gasoline in their Honda generator because it runs to hot and was burning up the generators. This goes against everything I know about high octane gasoline. Who is right? This could have implications for guys running this in their 151's besides just spark plug issues.

Speaking of Gas, 87 Octane today is 50 better than that 70-80's crap called mogas. It was 83 octane and crap fuel back then.

I'm still alive Hambone. I sold my last G838 to krink762 several years ago and have been muttless ever since.I don't pop in here much anymore as I have nothing really to contribute... I'm actually in the process of getting out of the hobby. Got a few more MVs to dump.... It's been fun, Fellas!

Having sold his MUTT, Xloflyr is actively searching for a clean WC51 or 52 (he really wants that big winch up front) or an equally clean M37 with winch.

Re: Where is Moose ?
That is as all we want. Those with more knowledge than ours. Older knowledge is the key to us surviving and to keep the mutt living.Lindsay36551 wrote: ↑November 26th, 2019, 11:06 pmHey gentleman, I skimmed over the last submittals on this thread'Im still here, Willing to contribute when necessary.

Re: Where is Moose ?
Me too, still here. No major projects recently but upcoming. Been a creeper (as my daughter would say) not commenting much but reading. Agree with others, this is the best site for M151s, and I agree one of the best hobby knowledge sites available. And the business has grown and been demanding taking most of my time. Clell csmith

Not to blow anyone's horn, but I think Rick does a great job here and deserves a Salute for his wisdom and time.
