I went and it was probably the biggest it has ever been. Did not get any pictures this year though. The biggest problem with Gilbert is that if you don't have a golf cart or a mule then you are walking and I do not do well walking anymore. Since I know so many people and so many know me I am always getting stopped to BS and by two hours in I am in a lot of pain so I am not thinking of taking pictures. And there are not exactly many places to sit either.

When told that they were impossible to fire on the move RickF decided to accept that challenge. Years later he is still feeling the pain...

That's funny, but I was thinking of a 4 wheel type. I wish I had one sometimes. Cheers !!

OUCH!!!! I only saw a 106 fired once and all I can say is it was violent! It was also far from recoiless. There was far less recoil than a howitzer but it was still pretty substantial. It just is all redirected out the back quarters. I can't even picture what would happen it the above scenario.

I was at the show Thursday through saturday, I was with the military radio group. I was also on the hunt for m151 parts for my restoration project. My best "rare" find were two NOS rear seat back's, still had the tags on them, same seller also had front seat backs. Also picked up a NOS cowl seal for $20 and a lot of other odds and ends out of grab boxes. I was surprised not to see more m151 parts, also picked up a engine from one of the staff members, it just fit in the back of my M886 ambulance. There were two very nice Air Force marked M151's parked at the Howell building were the radio group was located. I put on a lot of miles walking around, met Guy Loomis as well at his m151 panel booth.

We probably passed each other a couple times. I did not visit the radio building this year since I don't know anyone there anymore. The trick with the cowl seals is to find the ones that are still soft.
