rick, my memory is not so good anymore. didn't i write a paragraph once, years ago, spelling out in detail how to change a windshield?
Ron, Did a search a couple of different ways and could only come up with four threads. All where you referenced the type of glass and the DOT markings but none on the actual installation. I do remember that thread, I wonder if it is in the 503? I will do a search over there.

Found it! It was on the G503 from 2015. This is for an A1 with the two piece windshield but the A2 is not all that different. I will continue to see if you did one for that also.

Follow-up to my earlier post: I contacted a local auto glass shop, not the Safelite folks, and the one man that works the shop said bring it down. This was one of those old-school places that a wanna-be wrench-bender such as myself loves to spend time in. A lot of small talk, helping to move things for ease of access, then the joy of watching the work being performed. And the cost was very reasonable for such an excellent job.
