Hang the jeep off a tractor loader and with a 10 lb. hammer beat the the s..t out of the pipe...it will give up...but don't miss and hit the jeep...htn

I used an engine hoist, heated up the rear mounts with torch , hit it with a sledge hammer, if my memory is correct.Should have left it on as I could haul lumber, etc.

The ROPS system is very heavy...your jeep will handle much better...htn

Yes, the mutt seemed to have more power--more get up and go--with ROPS removed.Though it could have been my imagination.
