I guess I need glasses lol. However, it's not as dramatic in size as the older decals look.

Great idea about decals. I do agree there are a tone of people on Etsy and Facebook who make the fairly cheap.

I would really appreciate it if you ask BEFORE doing something like this! I do NOT own this site! I cannot make the decision on what to do as far as actual marketing merchandise for the site. That is up to the discretion of the site owner. So No, You do not have permission because I do not have permission.

When it comes to marketing for the site there is nothing wrong with making suggestions and even possibly pointing out vendors but to buy something on your own without asking if you can use the websites logo is copyright infringement.

No problem rick. I will delete the G838.org. on the decal. .. Copyright infringement ? We have no registered logo listed for this site to be infringed upon. I was only trying to help us and our club. AND I did ask. **********See previous post.

I think he means that is what is on the decal. Sort of what the millennials put on their wannabe Jeeps. Not our style here. As far as the site selling them you have to keep in mind a couple things. First is you have to buy in bulk, so yea,3-5 bucks a piece, for at least 500. We have what? 10-15 active members? Out of that group maybe 4 would buy a decal. Even if I could get them for .50 cents each the math still would not work. Jim did this back when he started the site and he probably still has stuff left over that people never bought. There was one donation run and we got some decent donations, I have them all logged if anyone really needs to know but the bill comes due for the site next month and half that money is gone and then there are upgrades that need to be done and my IT guy has gone AWOL again. I need to purchase some books and teach myself how to program and run this phpBB site myself and not depend on others. There is simply no money for stuff that will not sell enough to even break even.
You never mentioned copyright rules here ? ?????????

You did NOT ask, You told me/us that you had 20 of them coming, As in already purchased. You also said they will say G838.org, If you have my permission. Now, how do I give permission for something that is already purchased and on the way? ALSO, How do I give permission for something when I am NOT the owner of the site? We have no registered logo? What is that thing at the top of the page? That was designed by the owner of the site and it is owned by him.
I never mentioned copyright rules here? No, I didn't, I should not need to. First off, members of a site should not go out and do things involving the site on their own without discussing it with the admins or owners first. Key word here is FIRST!

You say you are going to help the site, I don't remember you ever talking to me about financing this venture and who pays what and what the pricing is and who gets what percentage of the profit.

With all of that said I want you to know that this is something I would not normally talk about on the open forum but you drug it out here so here we are. This is the end of the subject on this thread. If you want to continue then do it in PM. I STRONGLY suggest you do not! I suggest you just drop it! Your choice
