It was a Slaughter House. 10 percent chance of living through it.
The forgotten worthless waste of life was a island called pellieu,,,which very few Americans knew about.
God it must have sucked. It was of no use but MacArthur won over Admiral ??? Lets test your history ?

My Father in Law was captured on Wake Island when they bombed Pearl Harbor..spent 4 years as a POW in China and Japan. Really didn't want anything to do with Japanese automobiles after the war.

It is not that we are forgetting.

There are certain people who wish to actively erase these actions from history.

George Orwell wrote 1984 as a cautionary tale. Some see it as an instruction manual.

"On the day when crime puts on the apparel of innocence, through a curious reversal peculiar to our age, it is innocence that is called on to justify itself." Albert Camus
