That is a play on words, PI is used in figuring the area of a circle, if I remember right, don't remember the formula, all of it.
PS very unusual for a lineman to be talking about this subject LOL

3.14 x bore radius squared x stroke x number of cylinders = cubic inch displacement of your engine. Then you can get into cc'ing the heads and really fine tune the figures. Don't forget to figure in the thickness of your particular head gasket.

Well, Mark, consider that your line, if laid perfectly straight WOULD go around the planet, join itself, and form a circle.

That is, unless you are a flat-earther, in which case, you'll have to wait until April 22nd...or, April 32nd depending upon who you ask...
