And now for the best part of the trip! This was the first time using head sets. What a difference for making it possible to have a conversation and making a quieter ride. Added to the overall enjoyment of the trip.

Hey Clell. Click and zoom and you can see the information. I got them from Fil Bonica.

Those are relative old David Clark headsets. Ok but not up to today‘s standards. Generations of pilots have used them but I’m pretty happy that better material is available. Just a matter of price unfortunately.

The intercom is from Pilot, runs on batteries and is the recommended unit for this purpose.

(1) 9 volt battery, estimated to last 25 - 30 hours per the instructions.

this year all my time (and money) went into building the Sprinter van. I did not even find time for replacing the leaking water pump. Whatever, some water in the radiator and went for a 50 miles drive, so at least a little Sunday ride enjoying probably one of the last warm days...

As of today the 2021 151 driving season is over. For the last couple of years I remove the top and take it for a ride. It's usually in the 40's. Today it was around 38 F and I bundled up (including my Cousin Eddie hat) and took my step son for a ride downtown. After dropping him off I did a 30 mile ride. Truck ran excellent and had some light rain towards the end. I made room in my lower garage for A2 and Humvee and have enough room around both of them for some PM work over the winter.

Nice, thanks for sharing your rides with us. 8) If I were you I would just unscrew that top section of the Antenna and let the spring relax all winter.
