Re: pocin mutt
That first one is very nicely done except that the winch will rip the front right off of it but besides that the engine is set in there very clean and fit well. My main question is this. With the super strict rules on vehicles and paperwork how in the world did he manage to build a vehicle and register it two years before it was manufactured? Re: pocin mutt
You know what I'd love to see?
I'd love to see someone take a sacrificial MUTT, mount a big winch on the front as sensibly as possible and do a torture test, just to see exactly what the end result would be.
Somebody call Adam Savage!
Cheers,
TJ

Re: pocin mutt
Been done, the Vietnam Jeep club guys have ripped the fronts off of a couple of them. I have a picture somewhere. Unfortunately this member is no longer with us, he rolled the mutt and died in the process.

Very true. The first A2 were made in 1970.
Re: pocin mutt
Paperwork wise my A2 is 1968 as well as both M35 were from 1968. At least in Germany that makes things easier to register in stock configuration (lights, seat belts etc)
