Rick,
I removed my A2 windshield for rust repair, sandblast and powder coat, plus new seal and glass. Wiper motor worked fine when W/S was removed. Now, with everything back in place, motor does not respond. I'm guessing that the coating somewhere is not allowing for a proper ground?

I'm not Rick (never have been) but that has been my experience.

Cheers,

You are going to have to run a separate wire from the wiper motor down to a bolt on the dash somewhere. If I remember correctly most people use one of the steering column support bolts. This will be your ground wire so be sure you have good clean connection at both ends. This is a very common problem on restorations at the lights and windshield. That is why you should use the star washers, they bite into the bolt head and the metal part. BUT, There will be rust at those points eventually. Sadly electricity needs bare metal for a ground somewhere.
