I was a gunner on a track mounted 81MM Mortar while I was stationed in Bamberg Germany Jan 1971.We shot at a lot of old military vehicles for training. Just think of the good usable parts we destroyed. One of the bast times of training was firing the track mounted Tow missile. went through the how and what to do with it. then the live fire. The first one started to tumble just seconds after I released it, the trainer said the first one doesn't count and don't worry about it because your friends and neighbors at home are paying the bill anyway. When I figured out how to hold on target it was pretty gratifying and no spare parts on those vehicles.

I have seen that picture on Perini's web site. Some of the other pictures are photoshopped, but some seem to be real:

What was real was his incredible big pile of parts (and his crooked way of selling them). I heard he sold his business to some other Italian guy.
