Differential temp ?

Anyone put a temp gun on their Differential after a twenty-five mile or more run? Mine is getting to 170. ambient temp was 70 degrees today. thanks.

That is not bad. These diffs tend to run pretty hot due to the low gears and small heat dissipation area. what is your front one running?
