M718 blanket bag

Unread post by Hambone » September 11th, 2022, 5:35 pm

Does anyone know how the blanket bag mounted on the RR inner fender well? The footman loops are still there, I have new straps from Dave, just not sure how it's secured. A pic would be great but I have searched everywhere. Thanks, Buddy.

May have been but I will bet it was the same or he probably knows. If not he will know someone who does know.

I think I may have it figured out, it only has 3 footman loops for the 2 straps to mount to, you would think it would be 4 footman since each strap is 2 pieces. I believe both male straps mount on the one loop on the floor. The other loop you see in the bottom pic is for the litter mount strap. The other end of the straps attach to the loops on the fender well.

You can hardly see it once you get the stretcher in, but I never thought I would find the splint kit much less the blanket bag, so I'm feeling pretty stoked now. :D
