I got some 6" steel nipples/caps, to put my mutt's registration, insurance papers in.I guess the best place to put it would be the seat springs with hose clamps? maybe under the hood, have to give it a look over?

I keep mine in a plastic zip-loc bag in the pouch on the back of the upper passenger seat cushion.

I keep all my papers in my wallet. If the vehicle is stolen and then pulled over the cops are going to get quite suspicious if the driver has zero paperwork for the vehicle.

Here also if I am driving somebody else's car, I am supposed to have a permission paper to do so.
