i would call it strechers, not a bed...

and that's why there is a M718

What I was thinking was you could make a bed out of it on the ROPS, you'd rest better?This would be not be dictated by regulations, but by some grunt.Yes those are stretchers to carry WIAS
I think of the character 'oddball' in the movie 'Kelly's Heroes'.In the picture that was real way of transporting the WIA in the best way.Jerry-rigging, there is another word for it but it would not be acceptable.

I can think of many reasons that would be a bad idea starting with officers and ending with snipers! And is the ROPS even front to back? I thought the center bar was higher than the front and rear bar.
