Re: Mutt body BRAND NEW FROM MUSEUM
I offered to help Mutthead to post his photos and here are pictures of TJ's incredible find! I've seen "new" A2 bodies before, but this is a first for me. Unfortunately I live about 6,000 miles too far away but I'd reckon that someone here will be interested.

There appears to be no side drains.
That should make it a Ford body not AMG.

Re: Mutt body BRAND NEW FROM MUSEUM
Things I can see tells me it is an early 151, perhaps a run #1, I do not see a hole above the right tail light for the blackout stop light, the stiffener at the rear of the drive shaft/muffler cover looks to have the heavy plate with large rivet heads. the rear body panel has the wider space with shorter up curves just below the pintle mounting area, there are no mounts on the front fenders for the turn/marker lights, it has the wide shovel handle mounts.

Man, if I had that, I wouldn't sell it, I would build it. You shouldn't show stuff like that on this site, now I will be bummed out all weekend cause I can't afford it. Hambone

Its a early ford, look at the shovel handle . its more than likely a 62 BC of the single vent.

At the last national in Portland, I think it was Jon Bircheff that either brought one or bought one. ( I don't remember the particulars)
I remember it was still in the crate.

I don't think that's an A1 but a straight M151. Look at the front fenders-no holes for mounting the front marker lights..
Re: Mutt body BRAND NEW FROM MUSEUM
I saw this body and lost the auction to Mutthead, It is an incredible item and really belongs in a museum.
