The value of something is only what someone else is willing to pay for it. That has been the the deal with antique vehicles for as long as the hobby has existed. Look at Model T's and A's. They are cheap now compared to what they were 30 years ago because the younger generation is more interested in hot rods. Only worth what people will pay.
That said, I don't think another exists so that would make it priceless would it not?

I will say that the museum had to dip into it's artifact fund to secure this little gem, but we feel it was worth it.
I have already had several offers to buy it, but it is NFS.
We are working on designing a way to exhibit the model and keep it safe, it survived all these years with little damage, and we hope to keep it that way.

If anyone out there in the M151 community wants to help sponsor the display, let me know, as a small museum, we sometimes have to beg.

Jim,
Not all the "2B-series" were M151 vehicles. Early 2B series had M274 Mules and also M38A1 jeeps included. I have details of 2B 5057, an M38A1, in Berlin in 1962.
I came across this one along with further information showing a batch of M38A1s in the 2C, 2D, 2G and 2H-series, along with several M274s in the 2M-series.
Probably, some of the M38A1 guys can give more details of their contracts during the 1960's and likewise wth M274s. I've collected details of M151's only but during my research I noticed that there were batches of hood numbers that were issued to other 1/4-ton and 1/2-ton vehicles.
To add to this, I first thought that M274s were issued to USMC only, but was surprised to find Army-issued Mules, too.
