Still here, 14-16" on the ground and still coming down. Wind blowing about 45 MPH. Temps at 32. Hoping the power stays on.

Light snow here on the coast, had rain overnight....lots of very heavy wind and tree limbs down....now coastal flooding but we are high and dry here.... time to put the doors and side curtains on the A2 for an inspection tour later.

Just missed us, started showing heavy yesterday afternoon, then turned to rain, sleet, rain, snow, rain, sleet, rain, rain, and wind. Now its light snow. Glad it missed us. Stay warm everyone! Joe our beaches in Carolina have taken a real beating recently, not looking forward to seeing what they look like after this....

only a light dusting here, windy and cold but never lost power and got maybe near an inch of snow. The roads were too warm this go around to get coated thank goodness, because they don't pre-treat way out here, LOL.

Friday was nasty with freezing rain and sleet. Lost the phone first and then the power at 8pm. It came back on at 2am. I looked outside and it was snowing like crazy. Then the power went back off at 8am and didn't come back on until 1:30pm. Since there was not power this morning I took to shoveling the driveway. We got about 4 inches over a layer of ice.

So I could say I did something on my vehicles I used the sand blasting cabinet and blasted a M151 wheel. Gosh I thought my fingers would get frost bite. The rim was so cold I heated it over the kerosene heater so I could prime it.

A couple of years ago, I put in a propane Generac 20KW backup generator with a load shedding automatic transfer switch. It allows the use of a smaller generator to run the whole property. It starts cutting off selected circuits when it approaches capacity I also put in a 300 gallon water tank with a rv pump. I love the piece of mind it brings with snow, ice, and thunderstorms.

Sun is out, there is two feet of white stuff on the ground and it is 18 degrees. Power never went out but wood stove has been fired up the whole time and generator on standby. Military generator of coarse.

I drove my I8 wheeler 277 miles Saturday,1st delivered to Westerly Rhode Island and came back to my barn only to be sent to Fil,s town of Falmouth mass Cape Cod and it was nasty.Going over the Borne Bridge was eye watering, the cross winds were angry and visability was the end of the hood.Good thing I,m paid by the hour.
