1978? CJ-5 Project For Sale

Unread post by Mr. Recovery » July 15th, 2021, 4:06 pm

If anyone is interested in a CJ 5 project or "ALL" the parts I have for it then come get it, $500.00 takes it all except the TRAILER'S and wheels with tires you see in the photos  bring your own. The motor look's fresh and I'll fire it up if anyone is really interested. PS: The Transfer Case is missing, it was broken and tossed by the other owner but I have all the internal parts, also no title.

Sad looking in that current state. A 1978 AMC CJ-5 was the first new vehicle I purchased, sunshine yellow with white canvas top and enclosure. 258 straight six, no A/C, hell, no radio! I wanted yellow, as I was PCS'ing from Ft Hood to Ft Richardson, Alaska, and wanted something visible just in case of highway mishaps. Even with the soft top, the heater worked well enough to carry me through the winters there.
