Drive it around!!!?? He pushes it out of the trailer onto carpet and then rolls it back in if the clouds even roll in.
Come on Rick, I'm not that bad, I took it on a 6 mile round trip the other day, BUT dirt is off limits  , asphalt, concrete or a good bed of chat, I'm good. I will do some parades and shows but $4.00 gas for an out of town show at 12MPG gets in your pocket, I have no income now.

Yup, I know that feeling. That is why I cancelled the idea of going to the Hagerstown show this year. I have a ton of stuff I want to sell but 6.00 and up a gallon for diesel and possible questionable weather means no way. Last year at Gilbert I sold a whopping 50.00 worth of stuff. Didn't even pay my fuel bill. The shows aren't what they used to be. I really want to do the Findlay show but to do that one I need the RV which needs a LOT of work and at best I might squeeze 8 MPG out of it if I convert to fuel injection. Figure over a grand for the conversion so not really saving any money there for one trip. From 6 MPG to 8 MPG. Plus all new tires and batteries. Nope. In the old days I would not have thought twice about it. Once I get to the show the 151 is my main transportation.

My son did a walk around video at the last show, his camera wouldn't focus, I will do another at the next show.

Dan, did you catch the crest pin? It's displayed on the windshield tie down strap. 8)

It was 100 degrees and I did give the judge a bottle of water, that may have secured the win, He did say he had never seen a 718 in person.

I would think as a patient riding in it, it would be very hot in it, 100 degrees plus temp.Maybe they had a portable air conditioner?

I don't think the people riding it it really cared about the heat at that point! I have no recollection of even taking the ride.

Getting close to having a complete ambulance, finally found the blanket bag, now all I need are the rear seat belts.
