Spare parts in Europe ?
Question mainly for EU enthusiasts of MUTTs.
Germany, NL, etc...Where do you buy a spare parts in your countries?
I need to buy two parts, not any shop has both together.
Sorry to bore all readers of this forum - I tried to use Private message to contact Horst in DE
but without success.

Re: Spare parts in Europe ?
Andrew, I did not get any PM from you yet...
I use various sources, I can confirm that there is no single one providing everything, specifically if you want to avoid lower quality repro parts. You will need to cherry pick and accept the additional shipping cost.
I have used with success:
Kemper Parts in Germany (good selection, be careful with repro)
Globeworks in Germany (same comment as with Kemper)
Truckparts Trading in NL (good selection but a lot of parts are out of stock, high minimum order amount)
Reomie in NL (used mainly when I had my M35s)
Ava Parts in CZ (smaller selection but mostly NOS, extremely high shipping cost outside of CZ)

I add other web pages in which I have bought successfully.
us-army-military-shop.de (I think it has higher prices than other websites)
m151bodypanels.eu (for body parts, they also have other parts in a pdf file)
mil-plus.com (Italy)
Greetings and good luck

Re: Spare parts in Europe ?
ok, gents, thank you for your comments.
Currently I'm using Czech supplier - AVA parts. Good experience, but limited offer.
After some search of EU suppliers I choose US company TNJ Murray.
Wide offer and nice prices (of course transportation cost).
Since 3th of April I'm still waiting for ANY responce from them.
Question - do you have any experience with delivery from US?
Is there any DUTY + VAT charge within EU? Value of goods is 300 USD.

Re: Spare parts in Europe ?
Hi
You have to look at Your country customs
You can see there the amount to pay
Normaly you pay
Customs handling
Import tax
Vat
Transport from the US is expensive

Hello Andrew. I'd recommend you talk to Richard about parts, importing, etc.
Also, you said that you have not had a response from TNJ. I know there are times when I get e-mails from outside of the US and they get caught in our Spam folder. You might want to try again or call them. Just a thought.

Re: Spare parts in Europe - summary
summary of spare part searching in US (and EU).
TNJ Murray in US responded within couple of days - they are fine guyes.
Unfortunately I had to cancel my order (such a shame!) because of BANK TRANSFER FEE.
I tried to count everything including transport, duty, VAT. A lot of money, but fair enough.
But during a money transfer, my bank provider asked me for another 25 USD as a fee.
I was a LIITLE BIT UPSET and cut of transaction. (I'm not using a PayPal.)
Well, and this is the end of my parts searching.
Some parts ordered from DE, the rest of parts ordered in CZ - and it's DONE !

Re: Spare parts in Europe ?
Yes...
It happened to me similarly, I tried to import from the US and the VAT cost and Customs was so high that I rejected the order ... it was better for me to lose the shipping money and buy it in Europe because the customs expense was very high.
I have bought in the US only through ebay, when you specify the guaranteed final cost, so you are sure that there are no surprises.
All the best

Re: Spare parts in Europe ?
It seems that Perini is back in business again, since his business successors didn't act the way he wished.
I've met him this summer in Limone/Italia and he told me, that he returned all the parts (about 500m³) back from Rovereto to Riva.
His daugther will now do the main of the business but he is still active, too.
Over the years i've bought a lot of his parts, all picked up in Riva everytime i was on vacation.
His parts are generally used (extracted from cutted vehicles, mostely from Germany) and it's better to pick your prefered part personally from his stock.
I'll try to continue buying from him as with his daugther the prices will raise strongly...
