Fixed it for you. You are missing the [ just before the / towards the end to make it work correctly.

well kick me in the ass and call me a moron repainted the old brackets after some wire brushing and some rust eliminator put it all back together (waiting on paint to dry and it's going back in. I learned another lesson today
A1 brackets will not work on an A2 and it's not just the brake light switch it's also the alignment for the master cylinder.

if anyone is interested in some fancy A1 Brake Cylinder brackets let me know I have a pair for sale

Dave,

Rick said he would refund you if you sent the brackets back. Maybe you overlooked that post.

Good to know there is a difference in A1 and A2 brackets for future rebuilds.

Learned something myself, thought it was just the brake light switch.

well to be honest the filler part isn't exactly in the middle but I can work with it, I tried and tried but I cannot get it exact unless I take it back out and maybe shim it on the right, I don't understand it at all, same brackets the same hole what happened? well after a days rest, I will figure out something
brakemasterissue4.jpg
it does look better and is serviceable at least but not perfect as I like to do
and why do the photo's show up sideways

I saw that rick would take it back but I did use the spring, bushings, and the clutch pedal assembly cause they were so much better than mine and I didn't think it was right to break up the set and try and return it.

Slam on the brakes on that thing and you will get extra braking power as that front end digs into the asphalt!

Synopsis, well I got it all together with the right way and I have brake lights and brakes I just replaced the rear tail light lenses and found it needed a little customizing, not rigged, but they didn't fit perfect now they do and they work. I am having an issue with the turn signals working then not working then after a complete warm-up working again. kinda baffled the bulb works but.........it never works at an immediate start-up I was thinking flasher unit shorting but it seems to be the opposite of a short does anyone have any advice on turn signals. working intermittently I have a 4th of July parade coming up and I sure would like to do this MUTT proud and our Country I know I will be the only Military vehicle in it n this small town and they do it up Patriotically right.

Have you check all the grounds on the light housings, inside the lights and on the flasher control on the floor? My bet is if you take them all off and clean every one and reinstall with just a tiny bit of dielectric grease things will work much better. That goes for the bulb sockets also. Isn't owning a 50 year old vehicle just so enjoyable?
