Anybody ever use an induction heater to loosen bolts?

Re: induction heater
Yes, not in the mutt but in other things, it is simple, you just have to bring it closer and it heats up ...
Re: induction heater
Doesn't the bolt, or whatever you are heating have to be fully inside the induction coil for this to work? 99.5% of the the stuck bolts I have dealt with there is no way you could get the head of the bolt inside the coil.

Re: induction heater
It depends on the induction device, with this machine you just have to bring the screw close to the part with the white canvas and the screw turns red in less than a minute.
There are other heads for other jobs ... Like detaching car windows for example ...

Re: induction heater
I just called a parts store, he said the price was $500, so too expensive!

Re: induction heater
Yes, it is workshop machinery. 500 is a good price for a workshop. To have it at home and use it once a year, it is a machine with a high price and a very specific utility.
In my work we have this ...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCchJY7Z28g&t=85s in second 58 heats up a screw ... the machine works very well but I'm sure it cost much more than € 500
Maybe you can heat the screw with the oxygen and acetylene torch.
All the best
