Braided fuel line covers

Does anyone have a source for the braided covers on the Mutts fuel and return lines???

The original covers won't fit over the lines without removing the fittings, you can replace with larger aftermarket braided covers but not original look, you can buy fuel line kits with braided cover from m151 parts vendors like Rapco. Red River Parts may have some original lines.

I thought those cloth covers promoted fuel lines to rust

They do, but considering most collectors keep their vehicles in garages and also do not run them through jungles I would guess the lines will last longer than we will.

I just ordered fuel lines from Rapco. Not NOS but US made. I'll post pictures of what I get.

I found the braid, Army Jeep Parts has some.

I know that it can be hard on lines, but as Rick mentioned they are kept women, it will not be an issue as long as I own them.

I really gives the Mutt a new feel, it looks great
