Re: Holley Sniper 1100 Carburetor
Well, it is designed for replacing an Autolite 1100 carburetor on 6 cylinder engines and it is a downdraft type.
They also have a version replacing the Quadrajet, this is what I have on my GTO 400ci engine. But on the other hand, the carb just works

Re: Holley Sniper 1100 Carburetor
Since it is downdraft carburetor, it would require money and parts to make it work on the mutt, I'd stay with original parts, and forget about this carburetor. IMHO

Re: Holley Sniper 1100 Carburetor
It is fuel injection so position should not matter. BUT, 900.00 for the unit and then another 400.00 minimum to modify the fuel system plus a converter to provide enough 12 volt power to run it all, around 250.00. is it worth 1600.00 just to put fuel injection on a mutt? And that is not considering all of the plumbing for the fuel lines and wiring.
