I have seen that tool before, it is not for a 1911 since they are self tooled. I do not remember where it was I saw it nor if it was even weapons related.

Pre WW2 colt takedown screwdriver for a 1911. According to one place on the internet they are extremely rare. Only manufactured in 1918 and 1919 but who believes everything they read? :D I'd give you a dollar for it but I'm sure someone here would offer $2 right after. :D
Recent auction example - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Colt-1911-45-W ... 7675.l2557

That early emergency brake handle is rare as well.

I stand corrected!! I guess after that year they were told by enough people that between the lip on the magazine, mainspring screwdriver end and the hammer strut you have all the tools you need built right in.

Surveyor, "That early emergency brake handle is rare as well". I wish I knew that. I just sold one for 40 Bucks.
