Now that would be fun. A national or international MUTT show. I would love to see all the other treasured MUTTS everyone has. Maybe with a little thought something like that can be put together for a summer or fall event.

Thank you for the kind comments.

Matt, We tried that once and logistics were a problem. Jim offered his airport which would be perfect butt timing and distance were a problem for a lot of people. That is going to be a problem no matter what with guy's scattered all over the country.

I like these tires a lot. Unfortunatley, they are recaps and one of the front ones is coming apart. I need to find another set of them. They ride smooth and give good traction and not too much road noise.

I guess I did forget to add that one. It is a 1950 Chevrolet panel truck with small block 350 and turbo 400 transmission. It has a camero front end and rear end, with tilt steering ac stereo bucket seats etc. unfortunately, I hit a deer with it on the passenger side a couple of weeks ago, so needs some door, front fender, and rear fender work.
I actually have it up for sale if some one is interested, as I need to finish the MG and the 1963Triumph Herald convertable. Also would sell the M38A1 for the right price.

Will try to post some more pics of my MUTT in the next couple of days.

LOL....Actually pretty good........it was a young one...nice and tender.........(especially after being hit by a all steel truck) LOL...... Fortunately the damge to the truck is not that hard to repair, and the deer wasn't hasrd to prepare either. Though just as soon not get my meals that way, kind of hard on vehicles, just glad I wasn't in one of the jeeps, most likely would have jumped right in the passenger seat. Don't even want to think what kind of passenger a scard young deer would have made. ROFL............

Maybe need to find a APC or something to drive around in during runt season. At least would take a bigger deer to dent that.

kb0jyl,

Where in Kansas are you located? I retired from McConnell AFB in 2005. I think a M151 rally would be cool. I think the best place to hold it would be in the middle of the country.

I live in Topeka, sight of the old Forbes Airforce Base. Been around here most of my life, except for military duty ( and a little hitch hiking back when it was kind of safe to do so). Yes I think a rally in the middle of the country would be a good thing. Lots of open areas where one could hold a good rally.
