WTB M762 with a crank-up tower

Unread post by Bill, Idaho » December 15th, 2007, 4:25 pm

I am near Boise, Idaho I am in the maket for an M762 trailer, but with the crank-up 40 foot tall crank up antenna tower. Many were built for communication units. The antenna would fold 90 degrees to a horizontal position when traveling, and rotate back to vertical for use. It had a hand crank to raise and lower the tower. They also had four outriggers mounted on the frame, for stability when the antenna was up. I have found several of these, and they don't seem to be very expensive (white elephant) but every one I found was on the wrong side of the country. If anyone knows of one for sale, and it is closer to the pacific than the atlantic, let me know. Thanks gents.
BTW, there also was a 3/4 ton trailer version (M101?) I wouldn't turn my nose up at one of those either.
