M416 canvas re-lace

Unread post by 1SGCAV77 » April 2nd, 2022, 2:11 pm

Well today I finally got the new rubber rope installed on my trailer. Old one had a pretty big cut about 2 ft from one end. This top came with trailer. I recall having rope on all our’s in troop units. But I sure like this style.

I found the replacement online. Item and shipping under $25.

So you had the rubber rope circumstance the trailer in the hook tied downs, thru the tarp holes. The elastic rope made for a tight fit?

Rubber rope holds it tight as a drum head. Easy to remove cover. Easy to install.
