I'm going back through the side panels and making fixture updates for ease of production and part quality. We're looking at making some stamping dies for the side panel snouts to reduce labor and improve consistency as there is a lot of hand work and small pieces involved. These are spot welding templates for footman loops, side curtain rod brackets and axe handle brackets.

Some 151 updates for everyone. We're working on the underbody parts at this time. We also made a stamp die for the full side panel front and rear snouts (area of side panel that goes over the front and rear fenders). We now have the dimmer switch buckets in stock.

Here are the floor supports. I'm drawing the tooling for forming the large radius. The light gray part is the NOS part. Took picture after close today and didn't feel like turning on the shop lights.

Tooling for forming the large radius on the hat channel floor supports is in our machine shop, here's the other update on the underbody parts:

We'll have to do some fit up / tweaks to the outer pieces as the design is complex

Sweet! I think this is coming at a very good time since the supply or NOS ones is getting thin and the dealers KNOW that people are desperate for them and are pricing them at "desperation" prices.

Working on A2 rear cross member again. Going to make a minor change on the bottom but these are good parts. Still have to make the plate that the tail light mounts to. The part in primer is NOS.

Tooling is underway for the under body hat channels. Should be complete by end of week. Bottom die is going to be bolted together. This saves machining time.

Here it is! Tooling is done for the underbody hat channels. Hopefully we can test tomorrow. If not, early next week. This will end the days of dwindling supply on these parts.

Just curious, I don't need them but, are they replacements or do they fit over the originals?

Here's the first official set of floor supports. Again, these are the underbody repair parts. These are $65 each. The tooling required to form the radius wasn't cheap.

Beautiful job! Your price is fair too!

Can you share information on the possible cost range of the front hat channels, the front ones that go from the drivers to passengers side under the feet. Not an exact cost, just a bracket, high/ low.

Thanks for all your work, this is helping me save two M151’s !!
