Picked up what I thought was an M416 trailer project that turned out to be a nice M762 flatbed trailer with a nice M416 tub cobbled on top of it. I'd like to keep the 762 and restore it as well as finding a nice frame and rolling chassis to put this 416 tub on. So, if someone has a roached out tub on a decent 416 rolling chassis with at least some lunette parts with it, I'd be interested. GA, AL, FL, SC, TN area.
Send pics and what you need and we'll go from there.
Thanks in advance.

I have what you need but I'm pretty sure you can find a solution far closer to home than San Antonio, Texas.
I would love to have that 762, by the way! (but who wouldn't?)

too bad you're nowhere near me, just south of ft lewis washington. friend of mine has 3 M416's, and all the tubs are shot.

Re: Looking for toasty M416 SE USA
Well, we've been to WA for vehicles. Picked up a M29 Studebaker Weasel and another trip was a G506 Chevy truck. But, for a trailer, yes that's a bit of a haul. Fingers crossed that something will turn up.
Hope to get the M762 home this weekend and take some pics. We have a lot on our plate right now and it won't get any younger, so if it is as original as we think it is, has rebuild tag from Albany, GA in 83, we may just hose it off and offer it up.
We find that road trips are a nice way to beat the cabin fever of the Kung Flu lock down.
