Greetings fellow MUTT Enthusiasts,
I was a member a few years back but forgot my username and password, and have a new computer so I gave up trying to get into the old account. Rick, How are you? I am finally rebuilding the rear suspension on my A2 changing out those pesky A-arm bushings, my what fun. halfway to getting them off. I guess I'm going to be learning how to make brake lines since these were rounded off and rusting. I hope to be chatting up at some point, oh and I moved to the mountains of Tennesse " Gods Country" see you around

Welcome back Dave. I am going to sound like the fool here but I have to ask your original username so I can remember you. The fact that you moved makes it impossible for me to look back and figure it out.

Hey Rick,
I lived in Naples Fl. if I could remember the username I would have used it lol it was something like 70fordmutta2, 70fordmutt151a2 but the password is long forgotten, I have talked to you on the phone many times as you helped me on many issues with my MUTT. I could have researched way back into the past emails but I guess I got lazy after all I just spent 6 hrs removing the left lower rear a frame. I do wish I could remember my old username cause I had a little rank now I have to start over again. I think I joined in 2009 2010 maybe earlier?
I worked at the military Museum from 2012-2019. anyway if I can remember I'll tell you. I have a new computer and all my usernames and passwords are on the other one and it got misplaced in the move up here. talk to ya later.
Dave

Yup, Now I remember you. And since Dan has already looked up your old username we can go back to that and set you up with a new password and you will be right back in your old account. I haven't looked but it should still be active.

Well, I can tell you from a personal experience that Rick helped me through many a problem when I 1st joined. between then and now it has really run well. but now I have started hear [roblems and see some things pop up like the bushings in the rear swingarms are shot, and when I disassembled those I see wear in the bearings, and one of the drum brakes weren't even working. so I guess I know what I'll be doing this winter. The biggest problem I have is when I moved I lost all my contacts for machine shops etc. so I either have to meet new folks or buy some specialty tools. the good thing is I am in no rush so I can do it right. I am looking forward to taking some MUTT in the snow pictures.

Take Care , Dave

"Welcome back and do you have any photos of your progress ?....."

yes, I do, It was all put back together, but now I have disassembled the rear suspension to replace A-Arm bushings and wheel bearings seals, etc. so I can post pictures of it before I took the rear apart. ( as soon as I figure out how) check back I will get it done Promise.

Dave P.S. somebody from this page visited me in Naples and drove it, I apologize for That I don't remember your name ( I suck at that)...... We took it to the military museum that I worked at then went to lunch
