Recently my fuel pump failed. While I have a base M151, I had installed a M151a2 mechanical pump. I took the pump apart and found that the main diaphragm was intact. However the shaft that connects the diaphragm and the activator arm was disconnected. It is help in position with a rubber disk with a center hole for the shaft. That rubber disk was torn away from 3/4 on the edge. I think I could rebuild the pump myself if I can get the parts for the pump.
So does anyone have a rebuild kit? "Then and Now Automotive" will rebuild the old pump for $105. The web site is down for now but they are on Facebook and are open for business. But I would like to try to rebuild it. I have installed a NAPA 60577 that works fine. It was only $24 but it is not original.
thanks

Re: Fuel pump rebuilding
Then and Now will sell you a rebuild kit, You just need to supply them with the part number of the pump off of the mounting flange.
