Summit 4EA $823.98, Jegs $801.80, Kaiser Willys $831.00, Ebay $801, these are for the Firestone brand. The free shipping isn't so free when they add sur charges for oversize etc.. and sales tax.

Okay fellas, I will not be at Gilbert. My fiancee's uncle died this past week. He checked himself into the hospital a month ago with Covid and didn't make it out. 64 years old. We are attending the service. Stay safe.

Guy

Ps - A few people requested parts at the show. I'll be calling them Monday. If my brother still attends, I'll send with him but not sure what he's doing yet.

Due to the Kung Flu, good luck finding tires from anyone at any price. I picked up 48 used 7.00x16 NDCC's from Memphis Equiptment just to have for trailers, spares and rollers. Sold them all because of the shortage.

I'm going to disagree. Covid isn't the problem now. There are tons of job openings and businesses can't find people that WANT to work. Pretty sad. Not sure how the rest of the world is doing but in the US, that's a serious issue.

I think that will all end soon due to the ending of the extra unemployment payments but please, do not get into the politics of it. That and religion are the two rules of this forum I have zero tolerance on since they both instantly start fights.

I will be at the Gilbert swap meet selling some stuff. Going to have a bunch of 40mm ammo cans, an NOS head, some Holley carbs, Some radio brackets and antenna brackets. And whatever else I can find to throw in the trailer before I leave. Need to thin out the piles. I will be in spot R5 as it stands right now. May change at a later date but will post if it does. This is always a good show so if you are within driving distance I strongly suggest checking it out.

A quick report on the Gilbert show. WET! followed by cold, damp, cool, and finally on the last day it was beautiful. Friday was mostly sunny but it struggled to get to 60 degrees and after Thursday with rain at 1-2 inches an hour all day from 10.00 am to 6:00pm and then heavy showers until 11:00pm People there were really in the mood for some warmth! I stayed in my box trailer at it went down to 45 degrees Thursday night and 40 degrees Friday night. Them is some cool temps when you are in a non heated trailer folks.
Sales were very sluggish. Attendance from both vendors and public was way off. The venders I can understand with the weather but the public I think it is still the virus issue. My pre-sales were what covered the whole thing. My sales there were just enough to break even on entrance fees and food and fuel to and from.

I did not but then again I was by myself so I really could not walk the show without having someone to cover my spot for me. Just the quick walk throughs I did right before closing time while most people still had the tables uncovered and I did not see much of anything at all for 151's. I walked around Saturday morning before opening my spot up but everybody was sleeping in since it was so cold. The show opened at 8:00 and I will bet only half the tables were uncovered by then.

I arrived Thursday around 1pm, I was part of the military radio group, detoured on my way down to AJP and picked up my tires, glad I did, none at the show. As said M151 parts were few, I did pick up 4 2245 plugs, $1 ea guy only had 4, new in the box, my best deal of the show. Picked up some smalls from Murray, found a NOS shifter boot $5, guy had a pile of new rear brakes hoses $5ea grabbed 2. There were 2 new MC front bumpers $65 each, right next to the front gate, was going to snag them but forgot, oh well. Many vendors were missing and foot traffic was fair at best, if you didn't attend I don't think you missed much although I had a good time playing radio. I was in my M886 ambulance which has a diesel parking heater so I fared a bit better than most who were tenting, the rain really soaked things. Saturday morning was a bust, vendors were covered up well past 9am, I only saw perhaps 4 new vendors show up Saturday, I departed at 11am as I had a 12hr ride ahead of me back to ME.

$1 per plug? Deal of the century! Best I've done at a show was the air cleaner to carb boot. Found 2 of them for $40 each. Dealers (at the time) were asking $125 each.

I was looking at your ambulance, I wish I had known it was you. I bought a Buddy heater from one of your radio compatriots who has the Pinzgaur. I was the guy in the yellow trailer straight out from the garage door to the radio barn in front of the bathrooms.

1.00 a plug is 45.00 a plug less than the going price!!!!!
