For anyone who has downloaded the M151A2 Electrical Diagram

For anyone who has already downloaded the M151A2 Electrical System Diagram . . .

While working on my truck yesterday, I discovered a mistake on the original military diagram that I copied when I worked up the digital version. I just posted a revised diagram which corrects the error. The most current version of the diagram is 06E, dated 04 JUL 24.

In the image below, you'll see three diagrams of the front composite light:

1.) TM 9-2320-218-20 (SEP 71)

2.) TM 9-2320-218-20-1-2 (MAY 82)

3.) Corrected version (06E) of the digital diagram.

Summary - The grounding circuits shown in the 1971 version are correct: 460/461 and 491 share a common ground, while 20 (blackout light) has a separate ground. The 1982 version of the diagram was changed to put the bulbs in their correct relative positions, but the grounding circuits were drawn incorrectly. The revised digital version (06E) retains the updated bulb positions, but corrects the lines representing the grounding paths.

The change may not seem important, but if you're troubleshooting a problem with the lights on one of these rusty, crusty old trucks, knowing the grounding system can be just as important as knowing the power supply.

The rear composite light grounding paths were correct in the previous version of the diagram, so no changes there. Drop me a line if you have any questions.
