He was operational as of about two months ago. We did a deal back then.

Bump to see if anyone has done business with pvtjarhead lately. I sent an email inquiry a week ago and haven't heard anything.

UPDATE: I heard back from them after a week delay. Sounds like they don't have much inventory left.

Any activity on PVT Jarhead radio site? I click on the email tab on his site to pass along shipping info and there is no connection.

Looking for a display RT-524.

If I remember correctly, I contacted them a year ago and they didn't have any radios left. They were going to get back to me with a quote for shipping an antenna and never heard back.

I was also looking for a non-working RT-524. I found a working RT-524 radio in Greece in excellent condition for 640 Euros, which I had to wire transfer. Obviously, no guarantees, but they treated me good. I received the set well-packed via FedEx in a few days. I just looked at their website and they say they have several RT-524 in various conditions. Their website is www.military-spareparts.com. The guy I dealt with called himself Kostas, but his real name is CHATZIKIRIAKOS ATH KONSTANTINOS.
