An out west fishing trip with my oldest son put us close to Dubois, WY, on July 4. Unfortunately the National Museum of Military Vehicles was closed for the holiday, but we had the fantastic opportunity for a perfect view of the parade through downtown Dubois. Video links-

We were heading towards Dubois from the east, passing the Museum before getting to town. Even though it was closed, they were nice enough to leave the gate open for us to look at the outdoor displays. With only about an hour to spare before the parade, we had to make a quick pass through the rows of tracked and wheeled vehicles. It’s a beautiful location for a museum, and I can only image how great the indoor displays are based on what’s stacked up outside. I will be making a return visit- maybe I can get there July 3 next year.
