16th Annual Graves Mountain Military Vehicle Rally in Virginia
16th Annual Graves Mountain Military Vehicle and Vintage 4x4 Trail Rides and Rally
Labor Day Weekend, August 28 through September 2, 2024
(early arrivals are ok, just let me know...).
A fun filled weekend of trailriding, parts-swapping, and fellowship in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia open to all Military Vehicles and to Civilian Vehicles 25 years old and older. Newer vehicles may be allowed by permission of the organizers.
For More Event Information and Registration, See: https://gravesmountaintrailrides.com/
Since this year is the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings, and we use some of the same trails that the 29th Division trained upon, we will be honoring them during our event this year.
Note that although the website has been updated with this year's registration and information flyer (located under the "register" tab on the left side)., I still haven't figured out how to change the date on the download so it still looks like you are getting the 2018 version until you open it...

Cabell, I may contact you to repost this notice later today. I am in the process of trying to update the site and it has not been going well. Every time it fails I have to run a backup from last month so this would not appear after I do that.

I should either laugh or cry with you...
I will not say how long it took me to update the event website this year... I really need to find a new HTML editor AND document the steps used so that I will remember how to do it next year...
Just let me know...

He is the person hosting the site...
However, he's not interested in web design...
The current site was ported over from a server hosted by the former NCMVPA President who had some "interesting" ideas about web site development...

Re: 16th Annual Graves Mountain Military Vehicle Rally in Virginia
A HUGE thanks to Chuck (BMAN) and his family, Dennis Harlow and his family, Mike, Donna, the Graves family, Blake, Robert, and everyone else who pitched in to help with logistics and activities before, during, and after the event!
The list is always long, and it gets longer every year!
I had a great time visiting with everyone and am looking forward to hosting the party again next year!
(The event for those that like to plan ahead will be held August 27-September 1, 2025)
PS: RickF, Chuck has your shirts and said that they would be on the way to you soon...

Re: 16th Annual Graves Mountain Military Vehicle Rally in Virginia
Had a great time as usual althrough our stay was short, Thursday afternoon thru Saturday late morning. Trails were fun, weather threatening but mostly held off. So much fun to put our jeeps through the trails they were meant to roam! Looking forward to next year!

Re: 16th Annual Graves Mountain Military Vehicle Rally in Virginia
I had a great time and really enjoyed seeing everyone, especially those who have not been in a while or who made the trip to the event for the first time.
A HUGE thanks to Chuck (BMAN) and his family, Dennis and his family, Mike, Donna, the Graves family, Blake, Robert, Rad, Mike, and everyone else who pitched in to help with logistics and activities before, during, and after the event!
The list is always long, and it gets longer every year!
I put my photos and some that I snagged from others who attended on the event photo page located at:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/124394777 ... 099437663/
We will be holding the event next year at the same time and place (Wednesday before Labor Day through Labor Day, or August 27-September 1, 2025) Hope to see everyone back along with more friends and vehicles!
